Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bengaluru, a premier Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has announced recruitment for ITI Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the 2026–27 training batch. Eligible ITI-passed candidates from Southern Region states (— Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu —) are invited to attend the Walk-in Written Test on 25 and 26 September 2026 at Bengaluru. Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of up to ₹11,040/- per month for a 1-year training period.
There is no application fee. Only candidates who passed their ITI examination on or after 01 January 2022 are eligible to participate. Selection will be based purely on performance in the walk-in written test followed by immediate document verification on the same day. Eligibility Criteria – BEL ITI Apprentice 2026
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have passed ITI (NCVT or SCVT) in the relevant trade from a recognized Institute.
- Candidate must have completed and passed the ITI course on or after 01 January 2022.
- Candidates currently pursuing ITI, appearing in final semester exams, or awaiting results are not eligible.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act in any organization are not eligible.
- This recruitment is exclusively open to candidates belonging to the Southern Region States: Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

Selection Process
- Walk-in Written Test: Candidates must report at the designated venue on the scheduled date and time. An objective-type written test will be conducted based on ITI trade syllabus and basic general aptitude.
- Document Verification: Original certificates will be verified immediately for shortlisted candidates.
- Medical Examination: Selected candidates will undergo medical fitness examination as per Apprenticeship rules before engagement.
